Out to E-town
We cover Elizabethtown and the western Lancaster County corridor — borough core, the Elizabethtown College neighborhoods, the older homes along South Market Street, and the surrounding farmland of West Donegal Township.
What We See in E-town
Elizabethtown has a particularly old housing stock — many homes date to the late 1800s and early 1900s, with traditional frame construction that honeybees love. Common removals include:
- Wall colonies in pre-1920 frame homes around the borough core
- Chimney colonies in older homes with disused fireplaces
- Barn and outbuilding colonies on the surrounding farms
- Tree colonies in mature canopies on rural properties
Live Removal, Not Extermination
We don't kill the bees — we relocate them to our apiaries in Central PA. Spraying a colony inside an old E-town home creates a much bigger problem than the bees ever did. Live removal is the cleaner long-term fix.
