Serving the York PA Area
We cover live honeybee removal across York and the surrounding York County area from our base in Hummelstown — about 30 minutes north. Whether you're in the city of York, West York, Spring Garden, or out in the rural townships, give us a call and we'll come take a look.
What We See in York
York's older housing stock and historic downtown are particularly attractive to honeybees. The city has a lot of pre-WWII frame and brick row homes, plus decades of mid-century development in the suburbs. Common removals include:
- Wall colonies in 19th- and early-20th-century row homes downtown
- Chimney colonies in homes with disused fireplaces
- Soffit and roofline colonies in suburban ranch and split-level homes
- Tree colonies in mature oaks and maples on residential streets
- Barn and outbuilding colonies on the surrounding York County farms
Live Removal, Not Extermination
We don't kill the bees — we relocate them to our apiaries in Central PA. Spraying a colony inside an old York home creates more problems than it solves: dead bees, abandoned honeycomb attracting pests, and untreated honey leaking through drywall for months. Live removal is the cleaner long-term fix.
Pricing & Process
Standard removals start at $650, scaling based on access (ladders, scaffolding, lifts). We'll give you a free on-site estimate before any paid work begins. See our full removal page for the complete process, pricing tiers, and FAQ.
